Salish Snow Sports is a community-based youth ski and snowboard program operating under Stronger Towns, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We respect the privacy of our participating families, volunteers, donors, website visitors, and community members and are committed to handling personal information responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we may collect, why we collect it, how it may be used or shared, and the steps we take to protect the privacy of our participants and families.

Information We Collect

Salish Snow Sports may collect information that is reasonably necessary to administer our programs, communicate with families, maintain participant safety, coordinate transportation, process payments or donations, and meet our organizational and insurance requirements.

Depending on your relationship with the program, this may include:

  • Parent or guardian names and contact information

  • Student names, ages, birthdates, grades, schools, and emergency contacts

  • Information necessary for program eligibility, registration, transportation, lessons, equipment, or accommodations

  • Ski or snowboard experience and ability level

  • Information voluntarily provided regarding allergies, dietary needs, accessibility needs, or other information relevant to a participant’s safety and participation

  • Volunteer and chaperone information

  • Payment, scholarship, donation, and registration information

  • Signed acknowledgments, permissions, releases, or waivers

  • Photographs, video, or other media when appropriate permissions have been provided

  • Communications sent to Salish Snow Sports

  • Basic website usage information collected through our website or service providers

We seek to collect only information reasonably necessary to operate the program safely and effectively.
