COSTS & REGISTRATION

Welcome to registration for Salish Snow Sports! We’re so excited your family is joining us for a season of skiing, snowboarding, and mountain adventures. Because our program includes different services (transportation, lessons, lift tickets, and optional gear rentals), registration works like a menu of options. You’ll choose what your student needs, and each step has its own cost and form.

How to Register for Salish Snow Sports at Stevens Pass

Hey parents — thank you for joining us for another Salish Snow Sports season! We’ve worked hard to make registration as simple as possible, but because we coordinate transportation, Stevens Pass lessons, lift access, and optional rentals—each with its own registration, waivers, and payment process—there are still a few steps along the way. Don’t worry: we’ll email you instructions and links as each step becomes available so you know exactly what to do and when.

Each student will receive six two-hour group lessons taught by Stevens Pass Ski & Ride School instructors. Lessons are designed for all ability levels, from first-time skiers and snowboarders to experienced students ready to progress their skills, build confidence, and explore more of the mountain.

To keep Salish Snow Sports accessible to families throughout East Jefferson County, we continue to offer three optional tuition tiers. Every student receives the same program experience regardless of the tier selected. Families simply choose the price that works best for their budget, while those with more financial flexibility can choose a higher tier to help support families who need a lower rate.

We also welcome donations, sponsorships, and community support to help fund scholarships, transportation, and the real costs of operating the program. Every contribution helps us make it easier for more local kids to say yes to six Saturdays on the mountain—and keeps Salish Snow Sports accessible for our entire community.

How to Spread Out Your Program Costs

Tuition:

Tuition is paid directly to Salish Snow Sports. You can choose a 4-month payment plan. A deposit is due at registration, but your next tuition payment isn’t due until November 15, giving you time to spread out the additional costs of the program.

Lessons:

Lessons are purchased separately through Stevens Pass Ski & Ride School. We expect lesson registration to open in mid-October and recommend completing this step as soon as we send you the registration instructions.

Lift Tickets or Passes:

Lift access is purchased separately through EpicPass.com. Most students should wait for our special 6-Day Student Lift Ticket Bundle, expected to cost approximately $129 + tax. We’ll send instructions when it becomes available - these are not available online so you will receive a special link.

Fifth graders receive free lift access at Stevens Pass.

Gear Rentals:

Rentals are optional and can be purchased through Stevens Pass or arranged independently through another seasonal rental provider.

This allows you to reserve your Salish Snow Sports spot now while spreading the remaining program expenses across the fall and early winter.

NEXT STEPS

1

Tuition &
Transportation

Register with Salish Snow Sports. This secures your student’s bus seat and makes you eligible for scholarships or sibling discounts. Tuition may be paid in 4 installments, with only the first payment due at registration. You will receive a Welcome Email to advance to Step 2.

Adults riding with younger students (1-4) on the Family Bus must register but will not have to pay a fee this season.

2

Register with
Steven Pass Ski School

After you register, you’ll receive a link to sign up for six weeks of professional ski or snowboard lessons at Stevens Pass.

Lessons must be paid in full when registering with Stevens Pass Ski School.  The cost is $340 per person.  It's important to get your kid confirmed in this program early because the school needs to know how many instructors they will need to hire.

3

Seasonal Gear
Rental Option

While signing up for Stevens Pass Ski School, select a seasonal rental package through the resort, or plan to bring your own.

If you opt into the Stevens Pass Resort Seasonal Rental Agreement for Students, the cost is $230 and must be paid in full, but can be paid later in the fall.

Rentals do not include helmets but they are required.

4

Lift Access

Choose between a 6-day ticket package, a full season pass, or (for 5th graders) enjoy free skiing.

Lift Tickets can be purchased last and any time before our program starts in February.

Both the 5th Grade Free Pass & 6-Day-Lift Bundle Tickets are not available to the public so we will send you the info.
